Impact Payments is currently looking for an Independent Agent who will report to the Accounts Manager/CEO/CFO. The Independent Agent is responsible for sourcing new leads and moving them along the qualified pipeline through the sales cycle. Once a client, the Account Manager continues to be their clients’ first point of contact at Impact Payments, working with our support team.
Functional Responsibilities
- Generate new business for Impact Payments primarily though inbound and outbound prospecting opportunities
- Act as a liaison between the prospect and the Sales Analyst and Underwriting teams to get the application submitted and approved
- Building credibility, trust and respect with internal and external stakeholders
- Continually learning and building on their knowledge of electronic payments (through attending team trainings and self-initiated research)
- Effectively anticipate and preparing for objections
- Ability to demonstrate Impact Payments’ value proposition and win clients over competition
- Build positive, trusted relationships with clients by being responsive, honest and always in their clients’ “corner”
- Develop and drive overall long-term strategy for the account by regularly checking in and ensuring the account is thriving and issue-free
- Become a source of referral for clients’ network
Qualifications
- Well developed understanding of payment processing
- Strong prospecting and relationship building skills
- Long-term interest and commitment in a client-facing sales career
- Very strong business acumen with a self-starter attitude
- Coachable and enjoys and learning in a fast-paced and often complex working environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a focus on problem solving
- Outstanding work ethic and commitment to working with others
